From Fresh Green Lemons to Jar — A 30-Day Traditional Sun-Curing Process
Fresh Green Lemon Selection
Our process begins with fresh green lemons carefully selected from farms. Only firm and healthy lemons are chosen to ensure the perfect balance of natural tanginess and flavour that traditional lemon pickle is known for.
Traditional Surface Preparation
Each lemon is gently rubbed on a silbatta (stone grinder) to remove the outer rough layer and make the surface smooth. This traditional step helps the lemons absorb salt better during the curing process.
Thorough Washing & Preparation
After smoothing, the lemons are washed thoroughly in clean water to remove any impurities. Each lemon is carefully inspected so that only high-quality fruits are used in the pickle.
Natural Salt Curing in Sunlight
The prepared lemons are placed in large glass jars with natural salt. The jars are then kept under natural sunlight for more than 30 days, allowing the lemons to slowly soften and release their juices while developing their deep tangy flavour.
Premium Hygienic Packaging
Premium Hygienic Packaging Once the lemons reach their perfect softness and flavour, the pickle is carefully packed into premium food-grade glass jars and sealed hygienically to preserve its natural taste and freshness.
